Sirius XM Radio Inc (NASDAQ:SIRI) gained 493,000 net subscribers in Q1 2013, Visa (NYSE:V) Posted 15% Gross revenue

SiriThe satellite radio company Sirius XM Radio Inc (NASDAQ:SIRI) gained 493,000 net subscribers in Q1 2013, and company registered 12% growth in terms of revenues and 27% growth in EBITDA.

Sirius XM Radio Inc’s penetration in the new car market remained 67% approximately and the conversion rate to subscribers was around 44%.  The used car market will hold a good opportunity to add subscribers for SIRI.

Visa Inc (NYSE:V) and Mastercard Inc (NYSE:MA) reported earnings on Wednesday with 15% and 9% gross revenue growth respectively.

Visa Inc reported an increase of 20% in transactions processed outside of the U.S. with payment volumes rising by 9%. This led to 25% growth in revenues from transaction fees and a 10% increase in assessment fees.

Credit Company raised its EPS guidance and revenue outlook from high-teens to 20% growth.
