Hewlett-PackardInvestors are currently betting on American International Group Inc, Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) and Wal-Mart Stores Inc to exhibit active trade in Thursday session.

The renowned US based retail chain Wal Mart Inc is expected to post fourth quarter earnings of 1.57 US dollars per share. Last week the revelation of an internal memo weighed down over the company stock after it described February sales a total disaster at the discounter. Marvell Technology Group Ltd is poised to post fourth quarter earnings of $0.13 per share.For the fourth quarter AIG is forecast to post a loss of $0.07 per share.Safeway Inc is expected to report fourth quarter earnings of $0.76 per share.

Hewlett Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) is making developments in some areas of its portfolios in order to counter weigh headwinds from personal computer market squeeze. Analysts expect HP to post flat revenue and will begin recovery from here.

The battery issue baffled airline The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) recently disclosed it will announce plans to fix the jetliner batteries on Friday. The Federal Aviation Administration officials are scheduled to be met by Boeing senior executives on Friday in Washington to discuss the 10 point plan. The battery issue has kept the Dreamliner grounded for about two months.

Under the new plan Boeing intends to made some changes to the guts of the jetliner’s batteries along with adding protective fireproof container to prevent the on board firing.
