Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) Home crosses 500,000 download mark within one week

facebookThe online social networking giant Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) reported that within just one week of its launch the Facebook Home has been downloaded for more than 500,000 times through Google Play store.

Despite the huge liking there are still some negative views for the platform. The platform was launched in the United States on April 12 and was available for international users on April 16. On the Google Play the platform was able to grab an average rating of just 2.2.

The software is currently compatible with only a select Android based devices which is a drawback. Talking about the competition Instagram worked on nearly every android device after its launch and was downloaded 1 million times in 24 hours of its launch. Facebook Home appears to be gradually increasing its user numbers. The application was listed with a number of installs between 100,000 and 500,000 on April 19.

Coming to the stock performance; Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) in last trading session end up at $ 25.73 with the average volume of 34.81 million shares, in premarket FB shares 0.43% to $25.84.

FB stock price saw week’s volatility of 3.83% and month’s volatility is 3.18%, while the stock price of the company is moving down from its 20 days moving average with -2.41% and isolated negatively from 50 days moving average with -4.97%.

Looking at Analytic Ratios; the price to sales ratio of FB in past twelve months was calculated as 12.04 and price to cash ratio as 6.37. Company return on equity ratio is recorded as 0.40% and its return on assets is 0.49%, and return on investment is 0.54%.
