The trend of 1999 evolved around the cool technique of swapping the plastic cover of one’s handset for a more jazzy and colorful effect. The Finnish manufacturer, Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) is reported to revive that trend by introducing a new technique of mechanical drawings for Nokia Lumia 820 back case for the users to avail a 3D look!
Objectionably, such an activity could be niche as the 3D printers are not that cheap, but bravo Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) for presenting such a unique idea to public.
Having a handset nowadays is a common thing which we all do around the globe, but what makes it unique is the design that blends with your personality when you take it out for usage. Unfortunately handsets just comprise of a rectangular shape like box with different shine effects that are carried since the tech was introduced. Hence losing a little personality on the way.
However, the 3D print idea isn’t very common and would definitely be preferred by many of the Nokia Lumia 820 users who would be able to print a 3D cover of their own design the way they want anytime.
Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) stock slumped -2.43% to $ 4.42 in pre market on Friday.
